Hi there everyone, it’s lovely to meet you all. As MD of Giglets it is my duty to ensure that the overall running of the company, including its strategies, staffing and product development, to name but a few, is managed effectively.
As a result, to the rest of my team’s great annoyance, I like to think of myself as the “Chief of Staff” but they rarely let me away with that! It is also my job to ensure that Giglets has a vision and a direction and that we do our best to achieve our goals, which of course would not be possible without the commitment and support from the rest of my team.
“But Craig, who exactly are you?” I hear you ask, well I am 20 years old, I stay in Darvel with my parents and wee Sister Gillian. My friends call me “CJ”. I am studying International Business at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and in September 09 I will be entering my penultimate year which I will be spending at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada- a fantastic opportunity for both myself and Giglets. In addition, I am in the Air Training Corps, I love flying planes and gliders and I go to the gym regularly. Along with Kayleigh, when I was 17 I cycled 1,020 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats for charity- one of the greatest experiences of my life.
I don’t see much TV but I religiously watch Dragon’s Den, Top Gear and the Apprentice- which one day I might even apply for and win!! Business is my passion; I have drive, ambition and determination but little patience. In life and in business, I am always looking for new opportunities and experiences. Thanks for your time and taking an interest in what my team and I here at Giglets are striving to achieve.
